Welcome to Gathercole's

Our family company commenced operations in Melbourne in 1974 as a domestic meat wholesaler growing to service butchers nationally with beef and lamb.
We have obtained our Tier 2 Export accreditation and have extended our range of boxed lamb products. We are currently serving our lamb to customers in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Korea and the Pacific Islands. We are looking for good people to join us and be a part of our growth. We are also able to process our product to Halal requirements.

Gathercole's is a family-owned meat company based on Victoria, Australia. We process high quality beef and lamb from around Australia with the highest animal welfare and meat safety standards.

Livestock

The majority of beef and lamb stock is sourced in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales and we feedlot some cattle to meet the needs of our beef business.
We process our product at several locations throughout Victoria providing us with cost effective transport from livestock markets and farms. Each of these facilties are accredited to operate to the highest animal welfare standards.

Product Range

With our quality assurance program including SQF, ISO and Ausmeat accreditation we can offer packaged beef and lamb to your specification. All of our boning is processed to customer requirements and we have retail ready experience with a marinated range of products.

Quality Assurance
Gathercole's is AUS-MEAT accredited and is fully HACCP controlled with a Quality Assurance program to ensure product is processed with the highest level of safety and care.
Livestock Welfare
Gathercole's operates with the highest animal welfare standards and is accredited by the new Australian Livestock Processing Industry Animal Welfare Certification System (AAWCS).
Environment
Gathercole's is committed to operating facilties in a sustainable manner, including the use of solar panels and sustainable water and waste processes.
